Our Ministry

We firmly believe that prayer is the most important need we have. Here are a few specific things you can be praying with us about:

Our Vision

Our Theology

We believe that a vibrant Christian faith includes concern for both spiritual and physical needs. While there is a certain priority to the evangelistic task of the Church, compassionate outreach must never be seen as optional, or as merely a means to an end.

Scripture clearly states that our obligation to show love to others begins with the Church. Jesus said that our love for one another will be the evidence of our discipleship (John 13:35).  Paul also made a similar point in Galatians, saying "while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Gal. 6:10). In other words, a living and vibrant faith is expressed in practical acts of service first to the Church, and then to any in need, as Jesus taught in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37).

Our prayer then is that of the apostle Paul, who prayed, "May the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another and for all people" (1 Thess. 3:12).
